You know, it occurs to me that throughout my life, I've loved comics. Like, a lot. Like, more than a friend. It also occurs to me that I've enjoyed MAKING comics for a long time, though plenty of them have been... How to put it... Bad.

Still, I keep trying, and every once in a while I'm reminded by that little spark of self-satisfaction why I keep touching on the subject every now and again.

So, here's hoping for more of these little gems in the near future. It's not like they take a terrible amount of time, and lord, they do make me giggle.

On a completely unrelated note, Europe. I think this trip was one of those events that hit me harder than I realize, and that fact will sink in slowly over the next few months and/or years. It was really good to get away - not just from the only city I've ever really known, but to get TO places I've had in my mind I'd wanted to see for years, and to find out that they're not all that different, in some ways. In others they're completely bat shit backwards, but still good. It also made me appreciate where I am that much more, because hot damn, do I have it good.
